Leanne
I have been a massage therapist for 6 years, graduating from ICT Northumberland College in Halifax, Nova Scota and practicing in Lower Sackville since. I have taken some additional courses since graduation to improve my skills, enhance my client treatments and increase my knowledge of the world around me. Some of my areas of specialty include Myofacsial release, Suikodo, Pregnancy and Infant Massage and most recently Reiki.
One of the most important things to me, besides the health and wellness of my patients, is the education that I provide for my patients during and after treatment. I do this because I want my clients to understand what I am doing and why I am doing it. My philosophy is that knowledge is power!
Jana Young, RMT
I've been a massage therapist since 2007, but my “career” in massage began much earlier. I grew up in a family that gave foot and backrubs to each other, and my mother always liked mine best. My next encounter with massage was watching my mother's friend give my father palliative back massage to ease his pain. When I decided in the middle of my university degree that I wasn't on the right path, a series of coincidental events led me to the College of Massage Therapy, where I found the perfect career fit! I have the most relaxing job that allows me to help others to feel better. I see a variety of complaints, ranging from stress and soreness to overuse injuries and many others. Massage has great results! I love what I do!
